How to Download and Install ESOP NA 4.0


The quickest way to start working with ESOP NA 4.0 is to download and install the program from the Viessmann website. Please note that your computer must meet the following minimum system requirements in order to run the program:

Processor:  1 GHz
Memory:512 MB
HD Free Space:400 MB
Screen Resolution:1024 x 768
Operating System:Windows 2000, XP, or Vista

Also, to install the software on your PC you must be logged in with an account that has administrative rights.

Instructions:

1. Go to the Viessmann webpage: www.viessmann.ca/en/go/esop.html.

2. Click on the link to download the installation file:

3. You will then be prompted to either run or save the file. Click the "Run" button to begin the installation process.





4. The setup program will take some time to download to your computer. Note: If you use a low-speed Internet connection (e.g. dial-up), this process may take a long time.





5. When the downloading process is finished, the setup program will begin by asking you for your language preference. Select your preferred language from the list, and click OK.





6. A welcome window will then open. Click the "Next" button to continue.





7. In order to continue the setup process, you must accept the software license agreement. Please read through the agreement, and then click the "I accept the agreement" option. Click "Next" to continue.





8. The location where ESOP NA 4.0 will be installed can be selected in this step. (The default location is normally "C:\Program Files\Viessmann\ESOP NA 4.0".) If you want to install the program into a different folder, click the "Browse" button and select the folder you want. Click "Next" to continue.





9. Click the "Install" button to continue.





10. The setup program will then start copying files to the folder you selected in step 8. This may take a couple minutes to complete.





11. You will be notified when the installation process is complete. Click the "Finish" button to close the setup window.





12. You can now start using ESOP NA 4.0. The program will be listed on your Start menu (in Start ► All Programs ► Viessmann ► ESOP NA 4.0), and there should also be an ESOP NA 4.0 icon on your desktop.
