New Vitocrossal 200, CM2 Boiler Combines Proven Viessmann Condensing Technology with Innovative Features
Viessmann Manufacturing Company Inc. is proud to introduce the Vitocrossal 200, CM2 condensing boiler, the latest addition to their comprehensive line of energy efficient heating solutions. The Vitocrossal 200, CM2 offers unparalleled flexibility and maximum efficiency, making it the ideal choice for a new installation or economical retrofit in large residential or commercial applications.
The Vitocrossal 200, CM2 includes a new, fully modulating Viessmann pre-mix cylinder burner with a wide modulation range of 5:1 turndown ratio to precisely match load. It operates with low inlet gas pressure (NG) of only 4 inches of water column for compatibility with a wide range of supply pressures and provides clean, quiet and environmentally friendly operation with outstanding thermal efficiencies up to 97%.
The SA240 316Ti stainless steel Inox-Crossal heat exchanger features a generous heat transfer surface/heat input ratio, allowing for maximum heat extraction while maintaining a compact size. Extremely low water pressure drop through the heat exchanger eliminates the need for a dedicated boiler pump and low-loss header in single-boiler installations, while the boiler’s large water content extends burner run time and reduces cycling.
Multiple venting options (direct or chimney, up to 200 feet in length), fuel flexibility (NP/LPG/LNG) with simple electronic conversion and seamless integration into building management systems simplify retrofit projects and provide numerous installation possibilities. The boiler’s pre-assembled burner simplifies installation and commissioning, and all piping and connections are available from the top panel for easy hook-up and service. The Vitocrossal 200, CM2 is suitable for high altitude operation up to 10,000 feet.
The Vitocrossal 200, CM2 is available in three models with inputs from 663 to 1112 MBH, allowing for optimal matching of boiler capacity to load for maximum system efficiency and boiler lifespan. Up to four Vitocrossal 200, CM2 boilers in a cascade configuration provide security against heating plant service interruption and offer peak performance when equipped with the powerful Vitocontrol-S digital boiler and system control.
