Commitment to North America

The same expertise and innovation that has made Viessmann the best-selling brand of floor-mounted boilers in Europe is also evident in North America. 

The official engagement of Viessmann in North America began in 1980 in Waterloo, Ontario.

In 1993 a new North American Headquarters comprising a state-of-the-art manufacturing and training facility opened, and further expanded in 1998 to meet the demands of the continuously growing hot water heating market.

In 1991 a new Viessmann Distribution Center was opened in Surrey, BC to support the growing west coast market in Canada and the USA. Support has been further enhanced with the move to a larger facility in Langley, BC in August 2001.

The Viessmann USA Head Office has been located in Warwick, RI since 1991. In 2003 the company relocated to a new 38,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility to extend its distribution network and to strengthen the company's logistical capacity.
