The Viessmann Academy runs online seminars on a wide variety of topics on a regular basis which provide a simple, convenient way to learn more about our innovative products. These web-based training sessions are intended for contractors, distributors, engineers and sales representatives.

The online seminars are free, typically one hour in length and include opportunities to ask questions. Pre-registration is required for seiminars, after which all log-in information will be emailed to you.

  • Describe several possible hydronic piping configurations
  • Analyze the technical data to determine the proper install location
  • Identify the pipe sizing requirements for heated/chilled water applications

Learning Objectives:

  • Explain the overall electrical requirements for connecting both the IDU & ODU to the mains supply
  • Identify the field wired components and their terminations for the IDU, ODU, Buffer Tank & Optional Indirect Tanks, with some 3rd party equipment and controls
  • Summarize the factory wired components and their purpose
  • Recognize wired components in relationship to a sample of piping layouts
  • Review wiring changesr equired for the optional auto changeover function with some software versions
