On March 11, the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 (the novel coronavirus) a global pandemic.
At Viessmann Canada, the health and well-being of our employees, customers, and partners is our top priority and we continue to monitor the situation as it develops.
With the recent news from the Ontario Government declaring a state of emergency, we continue to encourage all of our employees and customers to use email and/or telephone to contact our staff and avoid any internal or external face-to-face meetings. As of today, we are not making any changes to the delivery of our services to our customers. At this time, however, we are postponing all Viessmann Academy training sessions in our Waterloo, ON and Langley, BC locations until further notice.
We are following all recommendations and protocols provided by health experts and authorities across Canada. Because the situation is constantly evolving, these plans may change and if they do, we will provide current updates through our digital channels.
